SUMMARY: Hawaii Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Program. We are a comprehensive addiction treatment program, integrating a full continuum of evidence based services, which are based on drug and alcohol rehab outcomes that are documented and successful. From intervention and medical detox thru the first celebrations of recovery, we remain attentive to each unique person and situation. Our program recognizes and addresses drug and alcohol addiction as a biological disorder, with social, psychological, and spiritual components. Our program is a nationally recognized luxury rehab. Our program is located in the oceanfront community of Kona, Hawaii. Kona is famous for year-round excellent weather. Outdoor activities - from a day at the beach to the famous international IronMan Triathlon - are always within reach. The Island of Hawaii is the largest and most southern in the Hawaiian chain, and it is also the most ecologically diverse. The Big Island is known for its natural beauty. From tropical rain forests to an active Volcano, from snow peaked mountains to white sand beaches, our clients have access to all. Our client-focused professional team possesses extensive experience in all aspects of the treatment needed for problems with drugs and alcohol. Our professionals are all Kona residents; have a long history of working together; and have impeccable credentials. A better team cannot be found, not even in high profile, high-cost chemical dependency treatment facilities. Our clients receive unwavering commitment and respect from us in their treatment journey. Our intensive, dual-diagnosis, holistic treatment program produces results. Our guarantee to you is that if you complete a 90 day program and subsequently finish a 30-90 day transitional program, and you experience relapse within a one year period, you may avail yourself of a free, one week intense recovery session at Hawaii Island Recovery. Imagine the day. You are standing before family, friends, staff, therapists and fellow recovering addicts, as a sober person. You have walked the walk to get to this point, you have worked hard in your treatment program to reach this day. In your darkest hour, you thought this day would never come, when you would overcome your addiction and celebrate your sobriety amongst your loving supporters. This is your graduation day from Hawaii Big Island Recovery Treatment Center. At Hawaii Island Recovery we think the most important part of therapy is individualism. Every client is different and every addict will respond to treatment in a different way. We give our clients the opportunity to explore 12 step programs but also provide the option for them not to. We've found that this all-encompassing approach offers excellent results because while 12 step programs do work with some individuals, with others they actually create resistance. There are a couple of reasons why this resistance might appear. The first is the idea of surrendering to a higher being which is inherent..
